Open Hands Midway is an outreach ministry of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in-the-Midway. It’s mission is to serve the Midway with open hands.

Since January 2011, we have served 16,414 meals, given away almost 8,000 bags of clothes, almost 2,000 pairs of shoes, over 1,000 coats, almost 600 blankets, and over 800 boxes of household items.
We have received over 73,000 pounds of food from Super Target Food Rescue in our partnership with Second Harvest Heartland. This is fresh produce and bakery so we can offer fresh vegetables and fruit to people in need each Monday and Wednesday.
Over 12,000 hours of volunteer time has been contributed by members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Youth Works, and partnering congregations.
